Students revisit and reflect on their original
concept map (from Engage phase). Students could make changes to
their concept map based on their learnings.
- Students reflect on (based on their modified concept
map) the question: why is it important if I contribute to
helping conserve biodiversity? A summary of their response
can complement their modified concept map.
Going further/Social Action
This learning design can provide input and impetus for students
taking action in their local environment: Taking action is a great
opportunity for students to conduct practical field work that is
beneficial to themselves, their environment and their community.
